"Correctness" & Democracy
The last generation was lost in the politically correct brainwashing. People should ask themselves the question: What is it to be politically correct? The answer for many would be surprising. Being politically correct is above all lying to yourself and others. When your are asked to be politically correct in your words or actions, you are being asked to say something that you do not necessary believe or agree with, but rather something that other people believe or agree with. Who are the other people that you should follow? They are not your friends or neighbors. They are not your family either! They are the media elite and their followers. They are the marginal minority of our society that are actually trying and succeeding to impose on us, the majority, unwritten rules and norms of behavior that serves their own interests. It is not a coincidence that people that failed to push their own agenda by means such as legislation, elections, and propositions are the same people that have instead successfully pushed their agenda through the "politically correct" brainwashing of our society. Through an organized effort in schools, academia and the media, this minority crowd succeeded to impose self-censorship on the majority. We are no longer allowed to say what we think is right or true if it does not meet the criteria that they set for us. We are a country of laws, rules and regulations which we should all follow, but we don't have to follow any other restrictions on our rights and free speech. If censorship is needed to monitor our behavior or speech, it should be legislated. So stop this politically correct nonsense that paralyzes our society and almost every aspect of our lives, and inflicts serious damage upon our democracy!
