myCityscrewups is a FREE community based virtual billboard where people can express their grievances in their community. We believe taking action through collective complaining can transform a community in a way that will give people the power to influence matters they care about most.

This site’s purpose is to:

1. Encourage people to take action by exposing personal injustices against their local bureaucrats, businesses, and service providers.

2. Enable people to communicate with each other on local issues through the built in forum. 'Gripe reporters' now have an influential channel to effectively target local consumers, businesses, institutions and organizations.

3. Act as a community voice to reveal honest and current insights on everything from how to fix a pothole on your street to warning a future patient about a negative health care experience.

Since a picture is worth more than a thousand words, uploading pictures and videos will enable people to quickly grasp the issues.

All visitors can search, view, rate, download and share page content. Registered users can also upload content, comment, flag content as inappropriate, or take action by selecting from a list of relevant authorities to email the page content.

Gripes can be about almost anything: The City Council, Better Business Bureau, city hall, sports, education board, school district, public transportation, DMV, school board, police, animal shelter, social services, city weather, politics, elections, post office, infrastructure, education, humanity, environment, public library, public parking, transportation, healthcare, airports, airlines, government, etc.

Events can be posted about almost any activity that takes place in your community: lectures, classes, demonstrations, entertainment, arts & crafts fairs, garage & estate sale, movies, politics, public hearing.

We are asking our users to help us spread the word about our website to friends and relatives. We also ask you to help us by providing email addresses of officials in your local communities. We also invite you to help us with any suggestions to improve user experience of the site.

It's cheaper than therapy. It's proactive protesting. It's empowering.

12.1.2009 - My husband and I (both retired military) decided to leave our back-woods, gang infested, drug pushing neighborhood in NC to retire to a clean, safer environment where we could live out our lives in relative peace and safety. So we built a house in the Prescott, AZ area. In December of 2008 we discovered that our licensed, (and vetted by the bank) building contractor was taking the money from our building loan and using it to buy property for himself and pay for a spec home he was building at the same time. Once discovered, he freely admitted the theft and then promptly disappeared, leaving our home only half built.

2.4.2010 - Subject: Sharp Vacuum, Model EC-S5170 On January 18, 2010, your salesman Bill Wojerski called on us to demonstrate a Filter Queen system. We felt the product was good, though expensive. We did decide to take the product, though we were unable to get financing of $2100.00. Your salesman made us another offer of $1500.00 for the product @ $45.00 month, with the first payment being February 18, 2010. There is no finance contract.

2.4.2010 - If you want good dental care do not go to San Jacinto Dental in San Jacinto Calif. A relative of mine was convinced to remove her back fillings and replace them with new material that is less hazardous to the body The dental work was done incorrectly She has had three root cannels for the damage done One of them is till not right She makes appointments and they are cancelled unbeknowest to her She works an hour away They have made her pay for the damage done Another dentist gave a second opinion and literally told her that she was in a rock and a hard place for what they did She has complained to her insurance company The kicker was when one of the dentists there told her not to come back He was leaving because this place was going to ruin his rep So please stay away Even with dental insurance you just can't pick who is any good
